Every DeSoto Designs artwork is produced as a museum-quality fine art print and includes a Certificate of Authenticity verifying its origin within the Companion Collection or associated collection.

Each artwork is created using archival production methods and premium materials designed to provide a lasting and meaningful addition to your collection.

What is the Companion Collection?

The Companion Collection is an evolving series of symbolic fine art works that explore themes of purpose, transformation, intuition, freedom, wonder, and discovery.

Each piece pairs a symbolic animal companion with visual storytelling elements that invite personal interpretation while contributing to the larger narrative of the collection.

New works and future collections are released throughout the year.

Will new collections be released?

Yes.

New Companion Collection works and future collections are planned throughout the year, typically 3–4 times annually. Subscribers to the Collector's List receive early access announcements and collection previews.

Printing & Materials

How are the artworks printed?

All artwork is produced using museum-quality giclée printing, utilizing a professional 12-color archival printing process designed to capture exceptional detail, depth, and color accuracy.

What is the difference between the Fine Art Print and Framed Fine Art Print?

Fine Art Prints are delivered unframed, allowing collectors the flexibility to choose their own framing style.

Framed Fine Art Prints arrive professionally framed and ready to hang, featuring responsibly sourced oak or ash wood frames in Natural Wood, Black, or White finishes. Framed artworks are protected by shatter-resistant plexiglass and include hanging hardware.

What paper do you use?

Artwork is printed on premium archival fine art paper:

  • 200 gsm (110 lb) museum-grade paper

  • 0.26 mm thickness

  • Matte, uncoated finish

  • Natural white tone

  • Archival quality for long-term preservation

This paper is selected for its rich detail, beautiful texture, and gallery-quality presentation.

Are framed options available?

Yes.

Framed prints are available in carefully selected premium wood frames designed to complement the artwork.

Available frame options may vary by collection and size.

What glazing is used in framed pieces?

Framed artwork is protected with premium shatter-resistant plexiglass.

  • Small and medium sizes: approximately 1.0–1.2 mm thickness

  • Large sizes: approximately 2.0–2.5 mm thickness

Does my artwork come with a Certificate of Authenticity?

Yes.

Each certificate includes:

Shipping & Delivery

Where do you ship?

We currently ship throughout the United States and select international destinations.

Shipping availability may vary depending on product size and destination.

Is shipping included?

Many framed artworks include complimentary shipping.

Any applicable shipping costs are displayed at checkout before purchase.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Because each artwork is produced specifically for your order, please allow approximately:

  • Production: 5–10 business days

  • Shipping: 5–10 business days

Most orders arrive within 2–3 weeks.

How is the artwork packaged?

Artwork is carefully packaged using professional protective materials designed to ensure safe delivery and preserve print quality during transit.

Returns & Damages

Do you accept returns?

Because each artwork is made to order, we generally do not accept returns or exchanges for buyer's remorse, incorrect size selection, or personal preference.

What if my artwork arrives damaged?

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Include:

  • Photographs of the artwork

  • Photographs of the packaging

  • Order information

We will work quickly to replace damaged items whenever possible.

What if my package is lost?

If your shipment is lost in transit, please contact us and we will assist in resolving the issue with the carrier.

How should I care for my artwork?

To preserve your artwork:

  • Avoid direct sunlight

  • Avoid high humidity environments

  • Handle prints by the edges when possible

  • Dust frames gently with a soft microfiber cloth

Will the artwork fade over time?

When displayed under normal indoor conditions, archival giclée prints are designed to maintain their beauty for many years.

Proper care and placement will maximize longevity.
